His skills are more than adequate - has very good hands, and good trajectory & direction on his drop punts.
Decision making when he has time & space is the thing he needs to improve on. When he gets that bit right, he'll pretty much be the complete package as a star Centreman.

David Parkin already rates him as an A-grader. Say what you like about Parko, and he certainly doesn't like the Pies much, but he's a wise old man who has seen it all and done most of it. If Parko says Adams is A-grade, that carries a lot of weight with me.Az wrote:His inside work with his hands were brilliant last night. As a small-bodied midfielder, he needs to bring more to the table than just "in and under".
His kicking is not up to afl standard, and it's his major weakness. This is no secret. His role model should be Sam Mitchell, who plays a similar role, is a similar size, and is a great kick.
Calling him an A-grader is plainly ridiculous.

Well his Kicking is the only thing Holding Him Back from being a A-Grader.bally12 wrote:As a small-bodied midfielder, he needs to bring more to the table than just "in and under".

Adams has said a few times his Kicking/Descion Making is something he is working hard on ImprovingRudeBoy wrote:His kicking is generally good imo. It's his decision-making at times which he needs to work on. The great thing is he seems to be the sort of player who recognises his weaknesses and works his butt off to improve in those areas. He's already cemented himself as our chief inside mid.
