yep, says he may do a McGuane and go play for the blues...
while i dont think he is anything special, ANYTIME a pies player becomes a blue annoys me....

If we don't use him to get Stevens we're fools

Its sad to see Scotland go (if this is true) becos i think his a real good player, but it would be beter for him if he moved on because its unfair for him to hav to be playin in the reserves evry second week here, Good Luk Scoots whereva ya go

He does nothing for me... i place him in the same category as Kinnear and a few others... expendable... hopefully he's part of a decent deal.

I saw the proposed deal in the paper and thats a joke. Out of that trade we are the big losers. We get a second round draft pick for a player who was good enough to get in a grand final team and had a strong second half of the year.
If Scotland goes he must be part of a deal to get a big name player not some stupid second round pick.

i think if we are going to trade Scotland, we should try and use him in tryn to get Solomon as i know Sheeds has been trying to get scotland for a few years

I think Soloman's asking price might turn Collingwood off of him.

Scotland's got huge bargaining power apparently. Quite a few clubs have been after him for a while by the sounds of things.

So Scoots wants to leave again does he !
He doesn't get enough senior games does he !
I wonder if he has ever thought of just playing consistent footy so that
he doesn't get dropped ? ? ? ?
He is a usefull player - but not an essentil player
David King looks to be a ready replacement for him
As Eddie said about Nancy Davis - if they aren't comitted to Collingwood
then %$^ them off .

Don't know about David King being ready to replace Scoots.... I understand the view on Heath, that he has not played enough good quality football BUT I have rarely seen a bloke with as much talent as he has... There are two blokes I rate very highly at this football club... not because they are in the buckley, burns etc group but because of there pure football ability Heath is one of those.
Heath does have the ability and if he has decided that his time as a magpie is over that is up to him.. but I would suggest he has to be part of a trade for a big name player....
As for kingy ready to take his place... ahhh No... a few ahead of him I think!!!

I think what everyone is flabbergatsed about is not that he is going.
But the actual trade. Equating him to Mckenran is nothing short of ridiculous.
One's an old time hack who's struggling to get a game with the should-be wooden spooners and the other is a much younger midfielder who has been as part of the last two GF's.

As part of Scotlands trade we need a ready made player.
If we have injuries our depth could really be tested next year and with a few senior players retiring i wouldnt want to be relying on unproven kids to pull us through. We need some ready made players who can slot straight in.

I don't mind if Scotland is traded, but it must be in a good deal.
