That's the sort of site I've been dying for for the last fortnight!

Not sure about our mock picks though...

Cheers ernie.

What a crock! Like we're going to draft three talls!

Then again, what else would you expect from anything related to BigFooty!

The assignment of picks to clubs is irrelevant. What is interesting is the assessment of the skills and physical attributes of the players. Based on those assessments we should be looking at
Tambling, Monfries, J.Jewis, Sharp, Egan, Eckerman as options in round 1 +2 (assume Deledio + Griffen will be gone by our pick).

All the above are midfielders with reasonable pace and good skills.

That mock draft is complete garbage. We already have developing ruckman which we have invested a lot of years in. Why would we draft another ruckman to take another 3 years of development with when we have midfielders that are going to retire in about 3 years. I would dare say midfielders and defenders are more of a priority for us!

We won't draft 3 talls. We need to look for a small and qui9ck midfielder/forward.

Also, no way known that Hawthorn will get near Ivan Maric. He'll be at the West Coast and has been informed already that he will be personally groomed by Glen Jakovich.

Yeah, I reckon we will be going for small quick players this year. We have plenty of talls, and potential KPP in the wings, so I doubt we will go after any big guys.

Btw, I noticed this under Travis Cloke:
He has a few aspects that he needs to work on, but the real question is whether Collingwood can carry 3 Clokes on their list.
Why does it matter is their last name is Cloke? If one of them wasn't a Cloke would it matter then? What a stupid comment.

I have my reservations, given the link via BigFooty, which I totally ignore. In the US, there are specialist draft scouting reports available via the Sports Illustrated website and I'd really like to know if there's anything similar available here. I think I'll write to my contacts at the AFL and ask 'em if they'd upgrade their website to include scouting reports. I know that they post a mock draft and it's pretty good; last year's predictions got 9 out of the top 10 plus 16 of the top 18 (the whole first round) correct. The trouble is, it wasn't posted until 20th November, which is useless for our purposes.

Incidently, for the Scooter lovers out there, in checking back on that "phantom draft", I noted that Brent Hall, taken with the pick we got from Carlton for Scooter, was predicted to go at 12 (to Freo). If he lives up to that sort of ranking, he'll be a gun.

Ignore the predictions - they are blatently anti-Collingwood and also grossly uneducated.

I too would like to see some independant analysis, but theat's all naturally kept under wraps by the respective club scouts.
There are so many site rules and regulations I no longer know what I can and can't put in this signature.

They said Cloke was injury prone, slow, gave away a lot of free kicks, erratic kick for goal. Sound like the other 2? Yep. That's why they are questioning our ability to carry 3 of them.

I think he is injury prone, but that doesn't mean he will be covered by injury. Errtice kick for goal - yes. I've heard on occasions he has scored 3 goals 5. I'm sure that over time he will get better.
