The following arrivals and departures have been outlined in the latest club newsletter. (I've yet to receive mine, so thanks to The Collingwood Turtle from LSD.)
ARRIVALS
RAYDEN TALLIS (Playing Assistant Coach).
CHRISTIAN MACRI (Playing Assistant Coach (forwards)).
DEAN GALEA - Spotswood (WRFL).
TOM LANGLANDS - Western Jets (2004).
PATRICK ROSE - Western Jets (2004).
DAVID STRETTON - Western Jets (2004).
LIAM PICKERING - North Ballarat Rebels.
TROY COATES - Bendigo Pioneers.
ZAC STREVENS - Bendigo Pioneers.
JACKSON BARLING - Calder Cannons.
MALCOM DOW - Gippsland Power.
Players currently training with Williamstown but not signed include CLINTON RUNNALS (Tullamarine 2004), delisted Pies LUKE MULLINS and DEAN BENSON, and former Blue JON McCORMACK.
Williamstown has also been in discussions with former Pie BEN KINNEAR, with BRETT MOYLE (Saints) a possibility of playing with the Gulls in 2005.
DEPARTURES
MATTHEW CAPE -
A club stalwart of 7 years who managed 130 games with the club (29 Senior, 101 Reserves). Captained 2 reserves flags. Capey is playing district cricket with Essendon this summer and will travel to the old dart to play in the northern summer. A great fella and leader, the Gulls will be poorer for his loss.
LEIGH SHEEHAN -
Sheebo was at the club for 4 years and has decided to head interstate to try his luck.
MARCUS BALDWIN -
2003 Premiership Player. Marcus is heading to America for work/holiday. (And to possibly catch up with his party buddy, Paris Hilton!)
BRIAN ASHTON -
After 2 years of injury he has decided to rest and concentrate on Uni.
AARON RAMSAY -
2 Time Reserves Premiership Player. Rama played a few seniors matches in 2004 and will play in the Essendon District Football League in 2005.
A good club man that will be sorely missed.
STEPHEN MAHER -
Returning to Spotswood (WRFL).
STEPHEN PUHAR -
Returning to Spotswood (WRFL).
BRENT MALE -
Training with Werribee.
Arrivals and departues for 2005.

If Jarrad nominates and misses out, he can (and most likely will) still play for the Gulls.
Dale - Is that Liam Pickering the same one as the former Roo and Cat?

As he's been recruited from Nth Ballarat Rebels, I doubt it. Besides, I think the older Liam is now a player manager and would be a little on the old side (age wise) for Williamstown's recruiting policy.Johnson#26 wrote:If Jarrad nominates and misses out, he can (and most likely will) still play for the Gulls.

Looks like I've jumped the gun a little bit, but that is what happens when you use someone else's info and assume it to be correct.
Anyway, I've just received word from the club regarding the above.
Firstly, it is not Liam Pickering, but Liam PICKEN, son of Billy and younger brother of Marcus.
Troy Coates, Zac Strevens, Jackson Barling and Malcom Dow are yet to sign contracts as they are waiting the outcome of the rookie draft.
Hope that clears things up.
