Not modding from a backseat or anything, I just thought that if you were a guest, you couldn't post on here unless you were logged on.
In the Supporter Group Forums, the following type posts keep appearing.
The person doesn't have profile details etc, so i'm guessing they are not members of the site. How can they post if this is the case?
The SA Forum and the Geelong forum have currently been attacked by it.
May be a bot attacking the site PP.
I know that there has been problems with them before, though this would be the first successful one to my knowledge.
Yeah, I reckon it'd be a bot. They are always around, and always registering on the site (although most are quickly deleted by the mods). Most a from 'adult' sites.
I guess the bots can find their way around the system (so they can post as guests), but as Eunos said, Mike would have to say whether that is possible or not.
They started in the SA Forum around midnight last night Eunos and I reported it via the blue button. Then this morning I noticed it in the Geelong forum, hence this thread.
I've reported the Chemist Shop spam to the mods via the blue button Eunos.
A couple of the forums were set to allow anyone to post, by default, I guess, when they were created. I'm in the process of making them post for registered users only.
Cheers.
