I'll just call him Woody. Fair dinkum, I haven't been this excited about a new recruit since we got Bucks. This says more about how hopeless our ruck stocks have been, than how good Wood is. To be honest I know very little about the kid, but I do know he's only 20, he's a giant at 204 cms, and he's apparently very mobile. All he has to do now is get his hands on the ball. Bring on 2008, I can't wait.

Wood was a 1st round draft pick back in '05 and picked up a rising star nomination in round 2 this year...to get him for pick 14 is a win/win for both us and Brisbane as he would be their 3rd string ruckman behind Charman and Leuenberger.
