In warm conditions saturday night i over saw the bar at my daughters 21st,the rule was that any one besides me that got pissed had their grog drinking curtailed.
it was a good night, every one except me behaved them selves.
then with sore head in tow i went to my sunday golf game and the boys returned to our house to assist me in the laborious task of finishing off the keg,and a few dribbles from the spirit bottles and some leftover cans from the esky.
the task proved beyond several of the helpers,as they fell by the wayside and new recruits were brought in,but in true collingwood spirit i stuck manfully to the task while the wife tidied up the place.
thank God 21sts dont happen too often.
now im ready for the real season so lets go pies and stop mucking around!
sort of match report 2hrs east of freo.

Thanks Ed, that's the best report from Saturday so far - and the only one worth reading.
Twenty one eh? I admire your courage in trying to ration the alcohol. Don't expect to have sort of control for too long.
I was telling the people in the scoreboard chat on Saturday that I rang ny brother in Melbourne and the phone was answered by Will (my eldest, 21). That was fine, except that I didn't know that he wasn't here. Then he told me that Patrick and Nick were with him.
I thought it had been quiet, but couldn't quite put my finger on it.
