BAN "I read on Twitter...." threads and comments
I believe that all posts and threads that start with;
"I heard a rumour that....."
"I read on TWITter that......."
"I heard on the radio that......."
"Damien Barretta said that......"
should be banned or at least have their own separate forum
98 times out of 100 these stories are made up by people to create a story and get attention.
Thoughts?

They're the only things that last more than 1 to 1.5 pages.
They seem to be the only thing that create discussion/heated debate.
Positive threads talking about how well somebody has done, last a few then die.
Only threads I'd ban are 'xxx didn't tip Collingwood to win the flag'.

well said
Wel said jack, although I find that if intelligent people keep banning dumb things to protect the dumb people all the time, we would have time for nothing else. If you are stupid enough to be on facebook and twitter then don't complain when you are attacked by other twitter morons.jack_spain wrote:I'm for banning Twitter and Facebook altogether.
I've been a Facebook and Twitter resister for years.
I love this club and I hold anyone in contempt who does not think it is worth fighting for.

Yeah fair enough Hiss. I guess the same thing applies to smokers.Hiss wrote:Wel said jack, although I find that if intelligent people keep banning dumb things to protect the dumb people all the time, we would have time for nothing else.
