Pies4ever, because it's matchday and the board goes crazy with new threads on matchdays, especially after a loss. Most of the new threads are duplicates and triplicates and quadruplicates - you don't even see half the drunken rubbish that gets vented on matchdays - and the poor bloody matchday moderator is going like a one-armed paperhanger trying to keep it sane. He shoots first and asks questions later, and who can blame him?

Moral of the story: don't start threads on matchday, especially not after a loss, unless you have thought them out carefully and they are really worthwhile. If need be and your post is important enough, wait 'till the next day and post it then.

Just don't start threads on match day after a loss. Vent in the post game thread and go to bed. Unless you're fortunate enough to have a shed, in which case go there and drink.

Yes, John Wren. There indeed is a thread that could have been strangled at birth without a single teardrop being shed.
