We should have a crack at Fletch. He has a few more good years in him.

Our #1 Target will be Dangerfield.

But if he decides to stay or sign elsewhere, who would be our 2nd, 3rd or 4th target?

Do we target a ruck in Bellchambers? Kreuzer? Leuenberger? Jamar? Sandilands?

Or a forward in Petrie? Old man Pavlich? Hawkins?

30 year olds in Dempster? Stevie J? Adcock? (Get one back on the Lions :P )

Older injured defenders in Grundy? Waters?

Or the super unlikely in Hodge? Mitchell? Bartell? Judd? Harvey? Goodes? Boyd?

Seriously tho, I'm guessing most peoples targets after Dangerfield would be Swallow, Rance, Scott Selwood or Jack Steven.

Given the age/experience profile of our squad I can't imagine we'd have too much interest in FA in 2015. Probably something for discussion round 12+ as we should know how our 2015 season is progressing as a pointer toward the 2016 season.

I thought Sloan was a FA next year?

Obviously Dangerfeild will be our (and others) main target, can't see us offering massive overs though like others will, and you'll need to overpay to gain his sig IMO.
Defender...........

Tom Hawkins would be a huge get for our forward line, seeing as Reid gets injured pouring a bowl of cornflakes these days. Getting Hawkins would also allow Reid to be released back to defence (if he can get on the park).

Jack Steven would be a handy acquisition if we want to bolster our midfield.

And of course, Dangerfield would be phenomenal for us.

Having said that, knowing our club, we'll probably pour all our efforts into stealing some 3rd rate player or delisted hack and spend the subsequent pre-season convincing ourselves that they will be a star in a role which will turn out to be beyond them...

Without causing a huge issue, I have it on pretty good authority that Dangerfield will be at Geelong after next season as it is his home town.

I highly doubt any of Stevens,Hawkins or Dangerfield would leave there clubs.

So you think Hine and Co have no F**King idea with Trades and Free Agency?

hawkins is going no where unless he has issues with the coach. Country boy, father-son pick, he's minting it atm.

Ask the question by all means, but don't be surprised at the response.

Let the Cats know that if they go after Dangerfield we'll throw so much cash at Hawkins his head will spin.
