Kreuzer to Pies??

It was alleged that we tried to secure him last Summer to no avail and like "silly season" the Pies are linked with his possible departure from Carlton plus the Dogs.
You could argue it is "overkill" given we have Grundy, Witts and Cox on the list with Gault on "back up vocals". However given that Kreuzer is a "restricted free agent" and thus wouldn't require any exchange of draft picks and Witts maybe "trade bait" one could mount an argument that it has merit. Especially seeing his recovery from injury this year.
Given Kreuzer's unwillingness to extend his contract throughout the season and Carlton's beautiful plight as a rabble club, it's understandable that he may want out just like his mates Henderson, Yarran, Bell and Menzel!!

I totally shudder at the tiniest prospect of getting ANY player from the scum but that's just me......

Exactly the opposite of what we should be going after especially considering how injury prone he is. From the article I read -- with him weighing in on Henderson's conduct -- that doesn't read like a guy who's thinking of going regardless of him claiming that his mind isn't made up yet.

So who would we trade for him? Can't see it happening.

I am a massive Collingwood supporter, doesn't mean I can play footy.
