Merry Christmas, Liverpool

Post by AlfAndrews »

Hello everyone. I've been a bit quiet here lately, but tonight was a great moment in sport. One for the collection.

Yeah. We were lucky. A bit of help from the ref, a few miracles from Hyppia and Westerveld and some dreadful finishing by Arsenal kept us in the hunt. But, in the end, who could deny the greatness of Owen. Those two goals were gems.

Go the mighty Reds...........

Sure we were lucky to be still in it but near the end we were running all over Arsenal and Owen should have got a hattrick if Fowler wasnt so selfish.

Hyypia played a real captains game and was brilliant to keep Liverpool in the game and saved Westerveld from Embarrassment. Old Daddy Mac played a great game when he came on and started Liverpools resurgence in general play.

Now for the UEFA Cup and our treble.

We didnt even have Barmby or Litmanen playing yesterday which i think shows our depth

Super stuff what....
Hyppia was brilliant.
Nice to see Fowler come on and then get a grip on the Cup.
