New coach? (Jared Rivers gets the job)

Post by Presti35 »

Now that Tapps has left the club, who will we be looking for as head coach?

Tarkyn Lockyer, Anthony Rocca and Jarred Rivers are the VFL assistants, will we see a change here too? Could one of them take over the job?

Do we look at someone within the club, or will we look for someone from outside?

A young up and coming coach? Or someone with experience? Who ever it is is obviously going to have to work closely with Bucks, so should we look for someone that has worked with him in the past?

What about the senior development manager at North Melbourne? Would/Should he come back?

Jared Rivers gets the gig:

This would, I assume, leave a vacancy in Rivers' old role of defensive development coach (which also entails in its portfolio assistant defensive line coach for the VFL team)...?

Has big shoes to fill with Tapping leaving the club, but all the best to him.

Here's hoping we can go one step further next year in the VFL after a disappointing end to what was an exciting season for us.
