Did not kick a goal in the qualification campaign. Left it all to the players.

We limped to the 2018 World Cup during the qualifiers, so a change seemed inevitable. He did a good job to lead us in the 2014 World Cup and we did win the Asian Cup in 2015 so he deserves credit for that.

I think our replacement will be someone from overseas, but who that is I'm not sure.

If we want any chance to make it through to the 2nd round they will have to go out and spend $$$$ to get a real coach - if we get a local you can count our world cup campaign as being over from the moment of appointment i.e Arnold or Muscat

It would be a good choice, specially since we're playing France.

Saw him play at the MCG around the same time when we got that 1-0 win over Uruguay (penalty, Muscat) when we didn't qualify for the WC (2001? ) - he was simply amazing to watch, had the ball on a string.

Indecently when we did play Uruguay at the MCG, after the game I saw Johny Warren walking away from the MCG by himself in the dark and he honestly looked like he'd seen a ghost... he knew damn well right then that we hadn't done enough to get through on the away leg. It was haunting in fact...

...
But is it even possible, given his current coaching position?

Real Madrid, I think.

The other header didn't make very good contact. I was far from impressed by its execution.

Been coaching Real Madrid since January 2016.

Secured two Champions League trophies in that time.
