Best wishes to Ox!

Delisted today. Josh Smith expected to follow.

Ox debuted in 2013 vs the Dees. He played well a couple of games early this season but just couldn't cement a spot after 5 years of injuries and VFL.

always liked him. Always injured at the wrong time. Of all the players delisted across the comp, he'd be one I'd look at if I were GC.

A role player who never really got a chance to play a role?

The bar has been set for ongoing sucsess for us and whilst Adam was an adaquate player that is not enough any more.

I wish him luck and imagine he will get a chance elsewhere

He actually did quite well when he came into the side late in the year, when we were running out of defenders.Hopefully he can get picked up by someone and this isn't the end of his career.

I remember watching him in his first or second year basically win a VFL game for us with his intercept marking at half back in the last quarter when the other team was coming hard.

Sorry to see him go, but injuries at the wrong time killed his progress and opportunities. Best of luck for the future Ox

Basically didn't have a defensive side so was at his best as a loose man in defence. After the breakout Melbourne game opposition sides worked him out and didn't allow him to mark and so stopped his rebound out of defence. Since he didn't have another role to play there was no position for him to play and as others have stated, he couldn't get a run of games into him because of injury.
