Wow. Didnt see that coming.

A face of the competition, still in commercials and such. But has not been a dominating player. Unlike the other three Pies who flew... jumped... to North Melbourne last year.
Hope, 31, has been linked to St Kilda, one of four new teams set to join the competition in 2020.
How do we feel about this? Are we supposed to be happy she'd been delisted after walking out on us? Should we patch things up and bring her back?

Was she the player that caused a bit of a ruckus within the team last year? Some have been led to believe it was. Is she a problem in the locker room? Is that why North have said goodbye?

She hasn't lived up to the hype that came with her. It is no surprise she has been delisted again. I saw her play a few times for the Kangas and she didn't have much of an impact in games. Saints sound like they may pick her up. I don't think we should get her back.

Maybe it says something about the standard of the league she was in before AFLW. It must be even more difficult to compare leagues than for the men.

At the lower level she played heavier and, being quite skilful in using her body, she was able to get lots of goals.

At the higher level she's up against girls who are taller, faster and stronger than her. So she dropped a lot of weight but that didn't make her faster or taller.

A good comparison is up bush over Easter I watched the local footy. The full forward looked like a well built unit, big and strong. Then when they came off at half time and walked past me I realised he was shorter than me so a midfielder or small/medium forward at AFL level.
Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down.

Moana is playing for Williamsown.

Saw her at the the Pies vs Williamstown game at Vic Park chatting to Britt Bonnici and Eliza Hynes.

MO HOPE’S SURPRISE FOOTY COMEBACK

She moved from Collingwood and was delisted by North Melbourne, but Mo Hope says her AFLW career isn’t over after a ‘tough ride’ in the competition.
She has nominated herself for the upcoming AFLW Draft. St Kilda interested.

Mo Hope goes undrafted.

From marquee singing, television commercials, walking out of Collingwood for North, to being delisted by North, to going undrafted.

Is it all over so quickly for Mo? Is there a rookie draft coming up in AFLW?
