Yet another match of the round for the Pies, 1st vs 2nd.
This game will have a big impact on both teams chances of finishing top 2.

First road trip for the girls, hopefully they are good travellers.

Game has been relocated to Victoria due to community positive COVID in Brisbane.

Will now be played at Whitten Oval with no crowd. Lions will fly in and out tomorrow which will make the Pies favorites for the game.

Game start time and broadcast stay the same.

One change to the team - Maddie Shelvin cones in for her 1st game of the season, Ebony O'Dea is out (listed as an emergency)

Too late to organise ticketing for the game and set up fencing around Vic Park.

Also Lions coming from area with a community case so protocol is that game played with no crowd to minimise risk.

Would not have worried about it been ticketed ill allow free entry but a cap on the crowd numbers would be good. Again i feel vic park would have been great or even say give marvel stadium a run too.
As long as the Pies win i feel they can ive got them by 13 points.

Pies lacking marking up forward had plenty of inside 50s but no score it’s Brisbane by 18 at 3 quarter time need to capitalise on inside 50s need to kick 4 goals quickly I do feel the pies are experimenting a bit too make sure our percentage is high and high enough to stay on top spot even with a lose to Brisbane but please Collingwood win easy v stkilda next weekend lose that we could end up in third spot

Sharni, next time it's late in a quarter and you signal you're going to go long... go long.

Don't short pass when there's like 20 seconds to go. Every shot at goal is important in this match. We cost ourselves one late in the 3rd.
