Empty stadium for 1 v 2.

Carey says it's also 1 v 2 for players. The Bont is his number 1 in the AFL now, Petracca 2.

In the preview McLachlan was interviewing Carey and Pearce. "What do you think about this Daisy Duck".

At HT, Melb lead WB by 19 points.

Lots of high-quality centre clearances this game.

For WB, Sweet to Smith and a Weightman goal in Q1.

Melb players masked up before singing the song.

Good that they take the pandemic seriously.

Sorry, couldn't resist. That English/Treloar pairing is just so damaging in the midfield.

14-day COVID exposure movement-restrictions, apparently:
The Giants were set to fly out of Kingsford Smith airport on Friday morning for Saturday's match against the Brisbane Lions at the GABBA, but were denied permission by the Queensland government, who ruled GWS weren't allowed into the state because they had been in Melbourne for the match against Richmond 13 days earlier.

However, the Giants will be allowed to fly into Brisbane on Saturday morning - when 14 days since their Melbourne visit has elapsed - and suit up for the clash against the Lions.
