I feel your pain...living with bulldog diehards, life must be hard right now.
Maybe, in order to create maximum confusion, go for the dogs in the GF (while secretly hoping for a Dees victory). If the Dogs win, then you will not cop too much flak. If the Dees win, then you can just laugh.

^ Get your priorities right. What is more important?? Faking an orgasm?? Or covering your ass in a GF showdown where you have nothing to gain and everything to lose???
Totally deflate them by pretending you hope for a Dogs victory.
Either way, you win.
Dogs win: hey, happy for you. (You will be surprised how this will actually disappoint them. They were hoping you would be sad and bitter!!0
Dees win: uncover your hand. "Hey, what happened?? Not good enough when it counted!" etc etc. TBH, I would love to be in your position. No emotional attachment either way who wins. You can be in control.

I have friends who are Melbourne supporters, go to games and I can have decent conversation about football with them. I will be happy for them if Melbourne wins.
I know Bailey Smith and despite the horrid haircut he is a great kid so will be happy for him if Bulldogs win.

Melbourne $1.64
Dogs $2.25
Since 1980, the Dogs lead the ledger 38-32.
They're 1 win each this season. The Dogs winning the last meeting by 20 points at the G in July. Melbourne winning in round 11 by 28 points.
Interestingly, Treloar is yet to play a game against Melbourne in a Bulldogs jumper.
He last played against Melbourne in 2019 and seems to enjoy the match up!
Collecting an average of 32.5 disposals against the red & blue.
In 2018, he played against them once, for another 32 possessions.
Melbourne, with the extra weeks rest and a nice period in Perth should win... but, you can't ignore the way the Dogs destroyed red hot favourites Port on their home ground.
I think this is going to be one of the really great grand finals that will go down to the wire.
I'm putting a few bucks on the Dogs and might just have a redback on Treloar to win the Norm Smith.

hate is an emotion, I am very emotionally attached! This morning I got out the bulldog thing my FIL made, it’s out of cement sheet and tiles, he made me a magpie one. I stuck it on the balcony, and then hubby started with the Treloar shit. I said don’t push me. He said hey, it was your idea, and I said yes, that’s me being the bigger person, so enjoy your shit and don’t mention my team. Aside from the rest of the family being feral, his sister swapped 2 years ago from Collingwood to welfare, and had the gall to take a few digs at me this season, all the while asking if she can got to THE holiday house! It’s not THE it’s damn ours! As for hubby, he didn’t watch 2016, never has, I watched and came upstairs with 5 min remaining and said do you want to see your damn team win or what? So he cried through the last 5 min, and then wondered why I didn’t hang around for the trophies. Me “do you see anyone in black and white getting one.” I bought him the DVD the day it came out, he has never watched it, he hates footy! He never watches any games! He didn’t watch last night even though I came up at 3/4 time and said watch it. And yet this morning he starts on me! I get your point one hundred percent, but none of them care about me enough for it to deflate them!Magpietothemax wrote:^ Get your priorities right. What is more important?? Faking an orgasm?? Thing is, I can enjoy our wins all on my own, I don’t need any to be happy for me, I’m happy enough for the whole damn world, and I sure as shit have never rammed anything down an opposition fans throat when they are down. Because I am not a cnut! And I’ll be $@&^# if anyone is going to do it to me! I’m too old to put up with it!
I’m actually happy to be in lockdown! No panties!
You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either!

If Treloar has that sort of game and wins the GF, we'll need to do a welfare check on Pies4Shaw, for sureSkids wrote: Interestingly, Treloar is yet to play a game against Melbourne in a Bulldogs jumper.
