Fifth Ashes Test

Post by Donny »

Adam Gilchrist has done it again! He hit 133 in just 121 balls and with Jason Gillespie put on 82 invaluable runs to help Australia avoid a first innings deficit. Well done, Gilly!

Wasn't it fantastic watching Gilchrist honestly he is such a champion! He really made up for those few dropped catches with that century, very entertaining cricket! You wouldn't know it's a test match with the way this guy plays! I also have to mention Michael Vaughan his century was very entertaining to watch also, he is a fantastic player what would England do without him?

When you're chasing 450 in the fourth innings of a Test match, the last thing you need is two doubtful (doubt, not out) lbw decisions!! Well, one was doubtful, the other simply shouldn't have been given!

Well played Andy Bichel. 49 not out batting at first drop in an Ashes Test. Already something to brag about to the grandkids, Bic!

LoL yeah go Bichel what a champion! He was bowling all day then came out as number 3 batsman! I like how Healy was joking about Bichel becoming a regular number 3 batsman that was too funny! I love Bichel the guy always has a smile on his face it's great!

Another non decision because of the Balmy Army - this time costly to Gilly. The Gilchrist swearing incident came about from a straightforward snick to the keeper and when the appeal went up the umpy clearly indicated he couldn't give it because he couldn't hear it over the crowd noise.

we looked tired right through out the whole fifth test, taking nothing away from England, they played very well, but it has been a long long summer of cricket for our guys.
