Paddy McCartin signs with the Swans

Post by Presti35 »

There were some on here who thought we should chase after him. But there were also many who said stay away.

I guess we'll see if he makes it back into the 1s and has an impact. He fit all the criteria of the player we needed (A young, tall KPF), but the constant concussions will always be a massive concern.
2014 Draft - Top 10

1 Paddy McCartin - St Kilda
2 Christian Petracca - Melbourne
3 Angus Brayshaw - Melbourne
4 Jarrod Pickett - Greater Western Sydney
5 Jordan De Goey - Collingwood
6 Caleb Marchbank - Greater Western Sydney
7 Paul Ahern - Greater Western Sydney
8 Peter Wright - Gold Coast
9 Darcy Moore - Collingwood
10 Nakia Cockatoo - Geelong
I wish him the best of luck and hope he goes on to play many games for the Swans, but most importantly does not get another heavy head knock.

Low risk move by the Swans, with the potential of high rewards if he develops into a reliable forward target.

The concussion issues will always remaining a lingering concern for him though.

Being reported that he'll play in defence.
