Nice spread of goal kickers which I've always interpreted as a positive endorsement of a team's progress

What was great (in a weird way) was we won without Pendles having a big game stat wise. Edit: leading possession winner for us with 28.

The thing is, you watch the game played like this and there are plenty of highlights to take away. I haven't enjoyed watching football as much as these first two games for a long time. It's attacking and there's really memorable play. It's like that last chain of play with Didak involved in the Fremantle game about 50 years ago. It will probably cause losses along the way, perhaps many, but there's plenty of opportunity to see the great players using their skills. That's what's really been missing. All this "play the game in a post box" footy takes the appreciation of much of the skill out of the game.

On another note, when did it became OK to grab the Collingwood ruckman around the waist at all non-centre stoppages? It's just holding the man when not in possession and it must be stopped. I don't mean when the rucks "lock arms" trying to get position - I mean when the opposition ruckman gets done cold because he's soft and then scrags. Imagine if people had been able to do that to Thompson, Dempsey, Nicholls etc in the old days. It's shameful.

Great win by our young team, going really well, there will be stumbles along the journey, but they are learning the game well, lot to look forward too, totally opposite to this time last season, thankfully, thats all well behind us. Oh and Kane Cornes, suck eggs pal.

Yes Yes. I know... but look while it lasts !

But sure beats 0 6 as predicted by experts,

Great win! Felt mostly in control of the high pressure chaotic game that it was.

Again everyone contributed and did their jobs, not without plenty of turnovers and general skill errors but I like what they are trying to do. They kept up their effort and intensity for as long as they could just tiring a bit in the last 15 minutes or so, but so did Adelaide, it was a warm day.

Our experienced players were again fantastic, DeGoey BOG, Pendles, Howe, Sidey were active, solid and steered the ship. The kids again were energetic and lively. McCreery, Henry, Ginnivan, Daicos and Daicos, Lipinski are all the reasons why we are 2-0 and looking like a team with a plan. There is a good mix happening right now. Hopefully we can maintain it, time will tell. I really enjoyed this game, more-so than last week. Been a while since I could say that.

De Goey had some second half. 4 centre clearances and 17 disposals (he was 1 and 8 at halftime).

I know Madgen plays his heart out but he makes me nervous every time he gets near the ball.

Overall, a good win. Early big test next week against the Cats. If we can beat the Cats, it will be mayhem at the end of the game.

Brown (don’t think he has it in him to be at AFL level), Kruger (good start) will make way for Maynard and Cox next week. Perhaps, if Roughead is ready, Madgen will also be replaced.

Nice spread of contributions across nearly the whole team. Love some of the surging high pressure football even when it didn’t always come off. Maynard will play next week. Hope Krueger was just precautionary because he looked great. Sidebottom is a running machine and so suited to the wing. Pendles lst quarter was awesome. Young blokes great.
Beautiful day at the footy!!!
