Seriously. You can't work this one out yourself?

People have saved a shit load not going to the footy and realised the convenience and comfort of watching the game on TV.

Yep plus everything is pre booked and gone are the days of just rocking up.

Must say the actuall games pretty crap too and very hard to watch.

Theres no skill in the game anymore.

Its just hot potato but no skill

Too expensive and its left the true supporters on the outer.

Also fake entertainment too.

Like at quarter time and 3 quarter time.

I legitimately don't understand the umpiring any more.
The non football "entertainment" at the breaks absolutely shits me.
The flashing lights and songs after goals shit me
The fixture not getting locked in at the start of the year means I make other plans.
Covid still exists and i definitely don't want it again.

yeah i agree with this lights and songs stuff after every goal kicked.

speaking to friends and family and coworkers, it’s too expensive to take the family and feed them, and they’re sick of the noise. Music is blasted every minute and it’s deafening, hard to talk to people. The change to seating for general admission has turned them off. No VFL game. And a big reason is the inconsistent umpiring and lack of personality in players. It’s like watching robots.
