Pretenders ?

Lions, Dockers and Saints were all thrashed by top 8 teams.

Do any of them remain legit contenders.

Even Geelong, although they won, coughed up a big lead against Richmond.

Saints Dogs Dockers to me are becoming the pretenders currently things are falling apart for both of these teams

Saints have a tough run home. I think they'll miss the 8.

The Dogs have won 5 of the last 6. Freo are still a quality team despite performing poorly against Carlton.

Yeah, that was bad.

I've said before that IIRC Richmond hadn't beaten a top-8 side all year. Since, they have beaten Carlton but no one else...

Dunno how Richmond got such an easy draw. They could make the 8 just from beating bottom-10 sides. :shock: Normally only sides down the bottom the previous year get a really easy draw.


But Geebung might beat Melbourne this week. And GC at home may beat Rich.
