Thanks for that, K.

I'm tipping Argentina to win the World Cup.

Sunday & Monday Results:

Qatar 0-2 Ecuador
England 6-2 Iran
Senegal 0-2 Netherlands
USA 1-1 Wales

Highlights:

England broke its six-match winless streak in style.

Bale got a yellow card and scored from the spot (not at the same time  ) in Wales's WC return after 64 years.

A lotta extra time.

Gareth Bale: "I can't believe there was nine minutes added on, I don't know where that came from."

OptaJoe says it was 10 1/2, not 9:

"4 - The four single halves with the most stoppage time on record (since 1966) in a single #WorldCup match have all been today:

#ENGIRN 1st half (14:08 )
#ENGIRN 2nd half (13:08 )
#USAWAL 2nd half (10:34)
#SENNED 2nd half (10:03)"

I've watched all 4 games and look like I'll watch the other 60 games 8)

I think the final will be Brazil - England. Brazil will win this cup.

sb World Cup 2022 Outrights [all countries have played 1 match]

Brazil 3.50
France, England, Spain 7.50
Argentina 9.50
Netherlands, Portugal 12.00
Belgium 19.00
Germany 26.00
Denmark 36.00
Uruguay 61.00
Croatia 81.00
Switzerland 91.00

................

Spain and England have shortened after their big wins. Are they the real deal? Or just Steve Smith-like flat-track bullies and downhill skiers?

Argentina and Germany have lengthened (but Argentina not too much) after their shock losses.

Poms held to a draw by the USA. Draw was $4.20, USA were $8.
Bit like Australia losing an AFL game to the yanks :)

I'm backing the draw @ $3.20 in Australia's game today.
Don't count the days, make the days count.

...
They are:

Brazil v. Netherlands 1994
Argentina v. Brazil 1990
France v. Brazil 1986
France v. Brazil 2006
England v. Cameroon 1990
Belgium v. Spain 1990
Australia v. Japan 2006
Germany v. Netherlands 1990
France v. Spain 2006
Australia v. Croatia 2006
Netherlands v. Argentina 1998
Netherlands v. Brazil 2010
Cameroon v. Brazil 1994
Serbia v. Switzerland 2018
Australia v. Netherlands 2014
Portugal v. South Korea 2002
Spain v. Germany 1994
Morocco v. Scotland 1998
Croatia v. Germany 1998
Argentina v. England 1998
Tunisia v. Saudi Arabia 2006
France v. Denmark 1998
USA v. Iran 1998
Netherlands v. Republic of Ireland 1990
Senegal v. Sweden 2002

Def. not the greatest WC matches since 1986! :o :( (Too expensive for SBS??) And the vids say "52 minutes", etc. Not the whole match?? Huh, what do they think we are: Slogathon fanboys??

The Oz 2006 matches are def. worth re-watching. A crazy 10 minutes v. Japan (Cahill introduces himself to Oz), and a crazy 90 minutes vs. Croatia.

Suggestions about the best of the rest, Jezza? :?:

Slimy disgraceful event ruined by FIFA, but that was an awesome gutsy Aussie win. What a class header from Duke. All G&D after that. Brilliant!
In the end the rain comes down, washes clean the streets of a blue sky town.
