2022 best and fairest award winner Matilda Zander is amongst the returnees, alongside runner up Katie Lee and second runner up Elizabeth Jackson, and foundation players Sarah King and Nicole Hales.

"Caitlyn Bunker, a 2019 VFLW premiership player, will take the reins as Captain for a third consecutive season.

The 29-year-old will be supported for a third year by foundation players Katelyn Lee and Sarah King who will serve as Vice-Captains. Rounding out the leadership group is new recruit, Riley Christgoergl."

I am looking forward to checking out some games this season, are they going to be streamed again, do you know?

Thanks a lot I will do that, keen to see how Mackie Sutcliffe goes in the VFLW while she's at North Melbourne.

Also, as a side note, I had a chat to Chloe McMillan (VFLW coach) at the netball last weekend.

She is very happy with her role at the Pies and the support she is getting via the Women’s Coach Acceleration Program. Getting a lot of experience working with the senior mens team & coaches.

Quite a few list changes but she was looking forward to the start of the season.

Was really hopeing that Frederick would either call time and retire for good or move to another club.

We look good otherwise.
