Big win. Hopefully it’s a launching pad for another great year ahead.
The biggest positive was our tackling pressure. Brought the heat and intensity required and was reminiscent of the last two years.
The 2nd quarter was a blemish, but the other three quarters were excellent.

Great win.
That second quarter was terrible.
I thought the rucks did well.
Finn M needs to go back to the VFL.
Shultz looks all at sea.
Noble was great.

Frampton was outstanding on Brisbane’s talls. Play like that every week and Murphy’s absence won’t be as adversely impactful.
Noble’s run and carry was brilliant. Brought plenty of energy and spark into this side.

84 tackles this evening.
We had 60, 51 and 54 in the previous three weeks.

Glad I got off the match day thread at half time, too many glass half empties on there for me, hope they are now wiping all the egg off their mooshes now, wrong yet again, as is their want, and THEY know who they are too. I kept the faith, right to the end , you dont write off the Magpies after one poor quarter.

Great win, great victory, one for the ages, up yours grandpa Fagan, and Caro. Suck on that one. !

He really shut Daniher down.
We needed a KPP down back.
We actually need one down forward.

Frampton has improved that 5%, he was fantastic. Those who bag Shultz simply don't understand a team game. Beau's pressure was infectious but overall it was a solid team game for 3 qtrs. 1 qtr we struggled and in saying that, we are in their heads.

Nice one. That win is a base to build on. A real team effort.
NB: Naicos giving Schultz's detractors a slap in the post match.
