With McCreery and Schultz unavailable, it will be interesting who Fly turns to next. Mitchell could be available, but I doubt it, meaning we'll need 2 further inclusions.
I would go with Macrae and Carmichael, though McInnes may get a recall. The smoky could be Joe Richards.
I just hope we don't subconsciously take this game too easy, as the Eagles are beginning to improve. There's no reason we can't hammer this mob by 6 goals or more.

McRae suggested after the game that De Goey probably wouldn’t play but that Mitchell might come back in. If so I think Macrae will come in. Otherwise, if both miss, I agree with the suggestions above that it could be a good opportunity for another debutant, e.g. Richards or Bytel.

The Eagles will have at least two forced changes. We will also have two forced outs and both outs are similar types.
Our replacements could go in any direction, with anything from Mitchell coming back plus one more who has played at the level previously, through to two totally new debutants.
Richards is the closest to like for like but that won’t stand for anything if the club don’t think he’s ready for the step up.
If Mitchell doesn’t play, then our midfield would likely remain the same with Sullivan playing the full game. That would mean Lipinski and Crisp continue to play on the inside and that in turn, gives Bytel his best chance to debut as an outside mid type starting as a high half forward. Conversely, they may also decide Hoskin - Elliot can go back to that between the arcs role and then fill his forward position with McInnes or Johnson again ( who were both ok on the weekend )
I don’t see MacRae coming in this week, regardless. When you lose two high pressure “ small “ forwards, replacing them with a one paced inside midfielder isn’t likely to be plan A.
Fascinating selection quandary and made all the more exciting by the chance to see the continuing development of both Sullivan, surely for a full game ( unless Mitchell comes back ) and Harrison.

Considering we were one of their only victories in their dismal 2022 season I definitely think that this is a danger game.Rd10.1998_11.1#36 wrote:Looking forward to all the "DANGER GAME!" comments
We don’t play Marvel all that great and WCE are not as bad as they were 2 years ago.
We should absolutely win but anything less than 100% could cause some concern.

Mitchell with appendicitis - in doubt for 2 upcoming games against West Coast and Adelaide.
