And since he remains by some considerable margin the best ruckman of the last 100 years, that was a good call on your part.

Haha, PS4....your restraint is admirable....you would have grounds for a fair dinkim 'I told youse!' rant.

My word Freddy looked poorly as a Ruck didn't he? Don't think he is the right option.

I'd say it will be Frampton....and to be honest he looked lost in the backline tonight, so at least its a role he might be able to play. Did OK in those rounds last year when we were ruckless....

It has to be Frampton, neither Freddie or Ash are anything but fill in 2nd rucks. The only other choise is Smit.

^ Yeah I didn’t even include Smit in the poll as I assume there’s zero chance he plays AFL this year.

Can only be Billy Frampton. He’s lost his way through the mid season anyway from being chopped around. Victim of his versatility when early in the season he was our best back by far. Should have left him there but instead we moved him and he was unsettled. This is a good chance now to reset and focus on one role.

Krueger will need to provide chop out ruck.

Short of having only 21 other fit players Johnson has not done enough to return to the AFL in my eyes. Effort. Body language. Marking. All the stuff off the ball when you don’t have it. All the stuff that makes you a player in Fly’s eyes.

No Cox, Begg or Steene is a problem. At least we did pick a ruck in the MSD and Smit looks to have some upside with general physicality but he’s young and raw at this stage and has a poor kicking technique which could be exposed at AFL level. Smit with a few preseasons under his belt and some development might be a different story. He’s competed well but well beaten by VFL rucks from Casey North and Essendon so far.

If Frampton and or Krueger go down next, then we’re really in trouble but need to give Frampton all of our ruck support for the next month
Ed Allen kicked our last goal of the year at the 58minute mark

Why not use Moore!!!!
He could be a great ruckman!!!
Maybe we will keep him playing the kick out week in week out
He loves turning the ball over with the kick out.
You win games in the midfield these days.
That is where we have lost the last 2 weeks.
Is is the midfield stupid!
His old man who won 2 brownlows is adamant that is where he should play

If Grundy had been our ruck last year we wouldn’t have another premiership cup in the cardboard guaranteed
We got rid of him for a reason same as Melbourne
