It's going to be a long season. Hawks doubling our score at half time.

Tough start to the year… unfortunately in such a short season it’s likely game over for finals already. How do they expect to keep interest in aflw with this uneven competition and short fixture is beyond me

9.3 to 3.6 halfway through the third.
Why do we bother? Seriously. Collingwood teams so unfit.

Kellie Underwood kept using the word elite and trying to compare this Hawks team with what we saw last night. I'll tell you what the Hawks men would put 400 points up against these teams.

This was always going to be tough for the Pies after watching the Hawks play the Blues last week.
Hawks were much to quick today, especially when they were able to get an overlap moving forward.
Their ground ball work was also much better.
Too may times Pies players were easily pushed off the ball (at both ends of the ground) and some don't seem to have much game awareness. To Hawthorns credit they pressured the Pies into errors and hurried disposals.
Defence was under the hammer most of the game and forward line disapointing (I am being nice).
Bonnici and Rowe worked their butts off but too often forced to bomb the ball forward.
With a couple of long term injuries we didn't need, it is going to be a long season.

Kellie Underwood is the female version of BT.

Fitness may be an issue for some players but we have players who are just slow and no amount of training can make them faster.
The Pies terminated the services of their fitness coach prior to the season.
There had been issues around their professionalism at the club & during an overseas trip and concerns that players were being pushed too hard during pre-season .
Not sure who has taken over but my source says the players are much happier that person is no longer there.

Went along today and it was pretty awful to watch TBH. I know we are rebuilding, but I feel like we are getting worse and other teams are overtaking us. Can't see us turning it around this season. Ugh.
