Ive got some notes but i dont think any one would want to read it.
fair dinkum if an umpire doesnt get decked soon ill go hee.
its not the ones they pay as much as the ones they dont,and we always seem to be on the wrong end of the orange stick.
didak was felled unfairly,play on,tarrants charge was not as bad and he got reported.
bucks was held all night at every centre ball up and the moment we toched a crow player he got a free.
its not as if they needed the help as they won every bloody bounce all night anyway.

I made a note in the second qtr that maybe the ball was flat as ive never seen so many shocking kicks from our blokes.
williams on his left foot is not worth a bean sprout,every time he cleared with his left it was back at him in no time.
weeks of ignoring the fwds by going for 9s has backfired because tonights ball didnt want to travel 50 for us.
haphazard entry was no good and normally cut off by the crows.
We cannot win a real season flag with no rucks,we couldnt last year and we certainly cant this year.
im still very confused,not just by some of the umpiring but by the way we kicked the bloody footy.
3rd qtr we got enough of it to hit the cows but we went back to the old wasteful pies and just squandered away our chances.
crows gang tackled us and we gang tackled them.usually it took 4 bounces or ball ups before it went anywhere and somehow the crows got so many free kicks at the stoppages it is a joke.
even obree had a go at a ruck tap and he gave away a free.
tarks,burns battled hard but missed too mmany set shots so did taz.
when you only get 5 kicks a week we need him to not miss.
he does miss too many times.
wasteful pies lose again.
backline was ok but always under pressure as we couldnt get past half fwd without turning it over.
im sick of writing grand final match reports so your not getting another one until we win one.
i was pissed in the sept grand final,sober as a judge tonight havent touched a drop for months and we lose again.
theres no rule to it.

50,000 turned up to celebrate Louies 80th birthday and as an added bonus there was a game of footy on.
Pies in the wizzy cup GF.
Not the normal start to a season for an MM squad but whos complaining?
Louies tossed the coin and looked shell shocked that bucks had lost the toss.Louie called for it to be 2 out of 3 but the umps would have none of it.

So we begin..Mckee wins the first ruck but is gang tackled and pinged for holding the ball...geeeeez thats a bit ruff!!We then had about 10 ballups in the next 4 minutes,sure aint pretty footy until a bit of molly magic gets it off to taz who marks and of course as is the norm for him he kicks a bloody point.
Ant intercepts a crows pass and kicks it to Bucks who at the 52 takes a contender for Classic catches one handed juggler.I could hear Ritchie applauding.Roop leads marks and goals.
Wakes marks at CHB and starts off a series of passes that end with williams who slots thru a left foot goal.
wakes then gets a free at half back but absolutely [snip] it up and the crows are gifted a goal.
crows win the bounce and goal again a few secs later.
then it becomes a bit of a struggle as we go fwd but cant get past half fwd as our enrty is haphazard at best,3 of our kicks are smothered and its obvious the crows are here to play it tough.
williams fumbles but shaw makes amends and passes to leon who hits didak on the tit 40 out but he kicks a point.
Williams is spoiling his efforts in the back half with sloppy left foot kicking,dont know what he up to,he does have a right foot doesnt he? Good work from Lika gets it over to Roop who spots molly on his own and its a goal.
Every bounce and throw up is followed by gang tackling and usually another ball up.
Johnno just bombs it fwd smart marks at CHB and they goal thru perrie who marks in front of presty.
After 3 more ballups in the middle crows go fwd and perrie marks in front of presty again and goals again.
Lokan is ok running out of defence and he gives off to williams who kicks it OOF on his bloody left foot again.
Woey kicks a right footed pass to leon who takes a very strong mark passes to roop at 50 who then passes to didak on the lead but the lead is chopped off by a right hand forearm to the nose by tyson edwards and its play on!!!
didak must have fainted say the umps?
crows rush fwd and score a point that should have been a goal from the square to us after the 50 that wasnt paid.
We go fwd from the kick in and roop has a shot on the siren but just as the rest of his mates have been he is wasteful and misses.
20-25 down at qtr time
its painfully obvious that the ruck is killing us.

Just like the 1st qtr Mckee wins the first tap and this time he passes to didak who drops an easy mark but Clokey takes a strong grab gets a 50 penalty passes back to dids who this time kicks a sausage.
Clarke wins the next bounce and 15 secs later the crows have the goal back.
As in the previous 3 weeks the ball is in the opposition fwd pocket as soon as its bounced making it very hard on the backline,but they are doing their best.
Dids lays a superb tackle at 52 and has a shot that falls short and is rushed thru for only 1.
Good work from Obree at half back gets it to tarks who hits aleading taz on the tit and of course he mucks it up and kicks a point.
Crows rush fwd for a point then a goal.
Then we just bomb it to Taz who has 4 opponents but obree cuts off a crow pass gets it to molly who finds lonie on his own and he lines up for a 9er and kicks a grubber.
Obree then has to go for the ruck tap and gives a free away.
he must have hit clarke in the ankle?
fair dinkum these blind mice are hard to fathom.
in fact id prefer them at 50 fathoms.
Ant takes a storng grab gets it to Johnno who has a go at a 9er and kicks it OOF.
This footy looks to be either flat or out of shape as both sides are having trouble kicking it properly.
normally good users of the ball are looking like scrubbers.
Mckee finally wins a throw in so the umps pay a free against him and biglands kicks a point.that is paid a goal.
Im sure it hit the post as it helicoptered its way thru.
Then we muck up a few fwd entries Mckee bombs to mcleod who says thankyou very much and slots thru a 9.
Bucks flattens carey but he gets up again,Lokan then is pinged for dropping the ball as he was pulled off as he was about to kick.
Seconds later mcleod is pulled off as he tries to hand ball but the one hander is ok play on! they score a pt.
From the kick in we go fwd ending up with woey marking at about 40.It doesnt even make the distance and 4 crows raffle it in the squre clear it and mcleod just makes molly and bucks look silly as he ambles thru them and goals to end the half. 60-28 down at half.
3rd qtr starts with 4 ballups and then 4 more before much is achieved.
eventually we go fwd obree to taz off to tarks who kicks a grubber.
williams marks and his kicks even worse than tarks was.
then its taz to lika then off to shaw and then a nother grubber,but somehow bucks roves the pack spots dids in the square he marks and goals.
Ant gets a free at the bounce and his kicks a grubber.
if this balls not flat im not sober.!!!
crows mop it up and score a point.
we go fwd taz marks and kicks it OOB.
Then the crows get away with about 6 tackles that would have been paid aginst us,Clement has his turn at kicking a mollygrubber and then taz is pinged for a solid tackle and reported Carey marks at the 50 and he slots it thru.
nothing wrong with his footy,how come we cant kick it.
leon does a shocking kick to taz who mucks it up crows clear but cloke grabs the nut on the run has a few bounces eventually handballs to lonie on his wrong foot but lonie slots thru a sausage with his rt foot.
Bucks gets a free at half back burns plays on with advantage gets it to shaw who has a bounce and passes to burns at 40 after he had run 100 mtrs to get it he kicks a shocker and its another point.
just before the siren tarks marks at 50 and is flattened after marking.
You could clearly hear the ump tell smart that normally it would be 50 but he was letting him off this time and then of course taks [snip] up the kick.67-43 down.
although outplayed we have still had enough chances to be in front,but the wasteful pies along with some very poor umpiring hasnt helped the cause.
final dig starts with 4 ball ups,before leon is given a hospital pass is almost killed when he tries to mark it.
crows go fwd mcleod gets the ball off a one handed crow throw and just ambles in to goal,All clear! fair dinkum umps!!
Burnsy the decides we are not done yet and he slams thru a 9 from the 55 fence.
then we get 3 more after a crow palmed it thru from 20 yds out but it took a lot to convince the orange maggot to pay 3.
Bucks kicks long to taz who marks and
halleluiah he goals for a change.
Crows get a free at the bounce for about the 10 time and then a moment that continue to shit me.
carey just propped all on his lonesome ala aknemanis in front of a pack and slots thru a rolling goal.
Surely it must be obvious by now that we dont allow opposition alone at front of packs?
and its game over. geeeeezzus.
Lika gets flattened at the next bounce but that ok play on, we go fwd taz gets it and does a [snip] up supreme with a 20 cm rt ft dribbler and its down the crows end before he could say solly.
Cloke is trying hard and stopping a few crow sorties but our fwd entry is hopeless as are the fwds.
burns marks and kicks OOB,bigland s somehow has time in the squre to toe poke it thru with his knee for a goal.
By now channel 9 are not replaying the errors by the umps as it must be embarrassing even them.
tarks drop s a mark and crows goal.
taz gets a soft as butter free in the squre and goals but its all over.
now i remeber mal micheal in the GF when we were 7 points up with 10 minutes to go doing a hell of a lot worse to taz but no free that day.
so umps dont think its all square yet youbastards.
crows nail our coffin shut with a 9,woey kicks a goal after the siren but the camera has been showing pie fans leaving for 5 minutes already and its not a happy ending.
mind you it seldom is for us.
But the thing that seperates us from the others is we stick together.

Seriousdly Ed, just how long does it take to put this together? Blow by Blow description, obviously you have to watch the whole match. Do you actually make notes during the game or during watching a replay?

I do it this way because some dont get to see the game and the blow by blow gives them a bit more of a feel as to how it went.

I take notes during the game,and i have a pretty good memory anyway.
And generally not long after ive watched it i knock up the report,so as anyone who missed watching it can read about it as soon as possible.
