How Nick Davis, or James Wasley weren't the nomination for round 3 is beyond me. They were both very good and were listed fist and second in our best list for the game in most papers. Davis had 15 kicks 7 Handpasses 6 marks and used the ball very well, while Wasley had 15 touches and ran long distances with the ball in an impressive display.
Yet the nomination went to Brett Backwell of Carlton who had 9 kicks 3 handballs and kicked three goals. He played ok but did not make the best list for Carlton and definitely did not deserve the nomination ahead of Davis or Wasley.
This happened on top of last week where Sydney's Adam Goodes got the nomination ahead of Davis again. Goodes got less than ten touches and kicked 2 goals. Again there is no doubt Davis desereved the nomination in Round 2.
Who decides on the nominations? Surely they are a Collingwood hater. I feel there is a conspiracy. |

Couldn't agree more George, especially Nick Davis, his performance against Carlton was like a bloke playing his 103rd game, not just his 3rd...he has class written all over him.
