Looking through my clippings I found a photograph of a bunch of Carlton players sitting around looking shocked at 3 quarter time:

Carlton coach Ron Barassi has never enjoyed the reputation of being a man of few words. In fact it's hard to think of an occasion when he hasn't demonstrated an ample vocabulary and a certain eloquence. But our photographer was on the spot to get this study of Ron during three quarter time at the game against Collingwood and the usually animated coach was for once still and silent. His players had just seen the opposition chalk up 12 goals 5 behinds to their two. First rover Adrian Gallagher looks up at his coach with a disbelieving expression but Ron can only rub his chin in deep contemplation.
