Those 2 decisions in favour of Hawkins in the last quarter were disgraceful. Without those, we win by 8 goals. |

My mistake; should be 13 I think. Phillips kicked 1 too! 😃 _________________ True 'Pies fans will go to the ends of the Earth for their team!! |

Wow, that was the best win I've seen under Buckley, seriously mean that. We didn't blow them away but we controlled the game beautifully. Our aggression was tapered and it was just at the right tempo, not timid, not insane, just right and we were able to maintain it for the whole game. Finding the right tempo is what we needed. We also limited our errors, there were a few massive brain farts but all in all it was excellent.
We also scored 100+ points and our goal kicking accuracy was very good, nothing too frustrating there. But, and there is always a but, but, can we keep this effort going? Will we play the same against the Blues, or put in a shocker? This is the challenge, consistency.
Damn, it feels so good to have a great win, almost forgot what it felt like. I feel great and not miserable. I like this feeling!! |
Yes is up there with one of coaching groups' best wins. Players actually executed the plan.
Agree with your but. Next week is the (next) test. _________________ kymbo |

Great effort. Pendles back to something like his best. Adams, Treloar good. Grundy super. Well done Josh Smith - proved the recall justified. Wells silky, and adds not only class but disposal efficiency. Dunn needs to stay. Good job Darcy, Elliot and Faz. I could keep going but just say good team performance.
It proves if we can kick straight we're still in this. _________________ Four legged animals good, two legged animals better |

Yeh, nearly threw me beer at the tele, by jeez, the yellow maggots did their upmost to get the pussies back in the game at that stage, But, what else is new, we rarely get a decent go from the umps. _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

Fantastic win,no passengers in that team today.I thought we were going to choke in that last quarter, but the team held their nerve, despite the umpires' best efforts to will Geelong over the line. |

I wouldn't drop Cox. Yes, probably the worst clanger I've seen in a long time but he kicked 1 (?2), freed Moore up, and rucked well. _________________ Four legged animals good, two legged animals better |

We have the wood on the pussies. It means nothing if we turn in another ANZAC day performance next week. A win is a win and I was happy to win my round of golf against 3 opponents who barrack/support for the Cats and gave me stick for 18 holes. I didn't have to buy a drink and I have a few bottles of red coming my way. Suckers!!!! |

Just as indicated from last years big win over the Cats, there's nothing wrong with game plan, just the execution. WE ran at 91% v 67% kicking efficiency mid way into 3rd qtr. That's how you always win this game |

Great win and so proud of the boys for taking the game on. This is the sort of performance I was expecting last week and should kick start the season in a positive way. Confidence and trust is massive in a team and there was plenty of that today! Go Pies! |
