You can't seriously be using the words "Trump" and "truth" in the same sentence, without, say, a "not speaking the" somewhere in it? |

E.g. check out Al Gore Snrs. voting record on the Civil Rights Act.
As such, the Dems = Tolerant, GOP = Racist binary the media runs with has a few holes in it. |
A little has changed in the last 150 years, of course. There was even, eg, a time when the ALP wasn't a party of capital.
However, no-one much cares about the Democrats. The question in the US is only ever whether the unacceptable racist Christian right can be kept out of office. It scarcely matters whether they have a rightist Republican or a rightist Democrat. |
Trump is a New York liberal Republican, it's only that he's a nationalist and not a globalist that gets so many panties in a bunch on the Right side of politics.
If they want to see a hardcore Christian fundamentalist in power then impeach and remove Trump... you get Mike Pence. |

Good point.
Pence once wanted to divert HIV/AIDs money to fund gay conversion therapy.
He's seriously Christian right.
But somehow he's more acceptable to the left than the God-Emperor. |

He really isn't. Most would agree in theory that a Pence presidency would be worse. They just want Trump gone so badly that they're trying not to think too hard about what the consequences would be. _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

You're right. For many it's become something bordering an irrational obsession. And from this week's team, Steve Bannon is an omission. The depth of the list is really being tested, now. |

Yep, the rebuild has begun.
Again, is this good or bad?
Bannon was alt-right.
However, he was also an isolationist.
Now that the WhiteHouse is controlled by the Generals (McMaster, Mattis ..) does the U.S. revert to its interventionist foreign policy? |

Donald Trump fires White House chief strategist Steve Bannon |
It seems that finally the boys took Trump into a small room and enquired about the state of his health, NSW Labor style...
What we should also remember is that this is, like it or not, a Republican presidency, and things that interest Republicans will be on the agenda, Trump or no Trump. |

The problem is however Trump whether one supports his view or not, has enabled not so much the alt right or other mostly dysfunctional male groups but the alt alt right that is the other dysfunctional if not pathetic male trash and in so doing has enabled neo nazis:
"...Fear, resolve and more security at Charlottesvilles only synagogueCongregation Beth Israel on edge after armed protesters hurled racist vitriol at worshipers and neo-Nazis threatened to burn down temple..."

I have no support of the so termed alt left - why give the pathetic right wingers oxygen? _________________ âI even went as far as becoming a Southern Baptist until I realised they didnât keep âem under long enoughâ Kinky Friedman

The death knell occurred before the Military. Bannon making the front cover of "Time Magazine" was a bit too much for a narcissist. he's actually enabled both and it's a chicken egg scenario. The Alt left and a large chunk of the mid left have been having daily paroxysms since he was elected, indulging in a variety of anti Trump rallies. The Alt right have bought in belatedly.
best outcome for society would be to let both sides get in close against each other and "accidentally" explode the area. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

I believe this is a Trump thread. Alt right might be a place for red herrings but do try to stick to the thread. _________________ âI even went as far as becoming a Southern Baptist until I realised they didnât keep âem under long enoughâ Kinky Friedman |

The alt left at this point in time aren't making threats to kill, maim or harm people going to observe their faith. There's a huge difference Stui. _________________ âI even went as far as becoming a Southern Baptist until I realised they didnât keep âem under long enoughâ Kinky Friedman |

No probs : back to Trump.
Trump's beloved daughter Ivanka is a convert to Judaism.
His son in law is Jewish.
Leading members of his government are Jewish.
So your attempt to somehow like Trump with anti-semitic Nazis is fanciful.
As Stui said about Trump "For many it's become something bordering an irrational obsession". |
