The single most ridiculous post of the year.
Adams is the captain in waiting. His form & leadership with Pendles out was obvious for all too see.
Besides the above you would want Stringer and draft picks for a player of Adams ability. |

Stringer has ability in an area of the ground we need and already an AA in that position though Adams wont be traded.
Personally unless we believe we are in the box seat to land Lynch next season then surely we need to take a serious look at Stringer.
He'll come with some risk attached but given he's still only 23, already a father of two and recently gone through a public separation I think it's reasonable to assume he's still capable of maturing and overcoming a very difficult year personally for him.
The reality is he was an AA at just 21 and his season goal tally from 2015/16 was a better return than any other currently listed Collingwood player.
Most likely the asking price is going to be somewhat reduced due to both he and the club wanting to part ways and his reluctance to move interstate.
Whoever ends up with him will most likely get a bargain with his best yet to come if he gets his head right. _________________ He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD! |

Nice try, Stui. Did I forget to say they can have Scharenberg as well as Adams? |

Stui it would take 55 Langdon's to land Stringer be real.
Stringer was pick 5 (maybe it was 6) by memory and was a 50 goal a season kicker in 2015.
2016 he was dropped by the club for poor attitude and discipline.
Then there's the breakdown in his personal relationship.
He has a upside for sure but is he worth the risk ?
Someone will take the risk I'm sure but the price they pay won't be what the Bulldogs paid at the draft
Personally I don't think it's worth the risk for us |

I'm sure we're looking at this very closely. The question marks over him as a player are small compared to whatever has caused him to leave a club one year after a Premiership, but they are there if the outlay is large: does he work hard enough? Mark the ball enough? Can he play as a forward 50 target? Does he have the fitness to play midfield? How long will his career last after he loses a yard or two of pace? Why does he have less career Brownlow votes than Chris Mayne?
At least we now have Boyd to help us with the non-footy side of things. As a player I think he fits our needs well, but I've always had some doubts about him. _________________ Well done boys! |

Suggest you all read the warning label prior to purchase.
Bevo known to have a great bond with the players. A great relationship builder. Yet can't seem to get this awesome talent on track and willing to trade him away.
I don't know the guy but have heard a few things. Considering Bux cleaned out the likes of the rat pack, hard to see how he'll fit Bux's player profile. Just sayin.
Awesome player when "on". But that was 2 years ago now. |

I think you missed P4S's tongue firmly implanted in his cheek.
Personally I'd be going for Keyser Sose - a much better prospect _________________ “I even went as far as becoming a Southern Baptist until I realised they didn’t keep ‘em under long enough” Kinky Friedman |

you forget that we have the best coach in the business. Bevo might not have been able to handle Stringer, but Bux Mark VII will not only make Stringer a 50 goal per year forward, he will deliver us a premiership 12 years ahead of our "every 20 year" plan _________________ Ohhh, the Premiership's a cakewalk ....... |

Stringer is taller, heavier and faster. I'm with WPT on this one. |

Why does Bevo want to get rid of him?
Is he the leader of the party boys?
Is he likely to be another Yarran?
How many, if any strikes does he have? |

If Bevo can't handle him, I'm not sure whether Nathan can handle him either. All I know is Stringer is one hell of a good footballer when he is in form. He was a shell of his usual form in 2017. Maybe Clarkson is the one to handle him (although Clarkson fell flat on his face with Vickery). |
