Generally on the money, MAG, except for Heals. I reckon most people would select Gilly.
Tugga didn't have a particularly good record as a batsman in ODIs. Bevo has and would be in my team. _________________ Donny.

Steve Waugh was one of the originators of the slower ball. I would definately have him in my team.
Gilly would be in my team as well. Hayden is a great player but i think at this stage others have done more than him at one day level.

So, how about some names, mate ?
"others have done more" ? You mean Bevo, I suppose.
Simon O'Donnell was the other originator of the slower ball.
How about you name who you'd drop for Bevan ? He'd have to be in your team because you've often stated how great he WAS and this team covers the last 23 odd years. _________________ Donny.

Steve Waughs record as a batsman is pretty handy:
SR Waugh 325 288 58 7569 120* 32.90 75.91 3 45 111 -
Steve was also a useful bowler and a good fielder. The rest of the team are pretty good in the field as well. There is a bias to more modern players as there are so many more one day games being played.
The team has 5 specialist bowlers and the Waugh brothers if required.
Gilchrist
Mark Waugh
Dean Jones
Ponting
Steve Waugh
Bevan
O'Donnell
Warne
McDermott
Rackermann
McGrath
12th Man Border

There you go again. Why all the NSWelshmen when there's no NSW national selector/s ?
Peter Taylor was a NSWelshman as well. Was way past it when he had a few games for Queensland. _________________ Donny.

Well look at our team over the last decade and it has been dominated by NSW players

Lol JLC you have done it again, I guess I'm not the only one who has had a gut full of the ridiculous advantages given to NSW players when Australian teams are selected. |

With AB to carry the drinks, it would be curious to see how many would actually make it out to the middle. _________________ he's an animal, what can u expect!!! |

Well I was gonna have Punter carry the drinks but AB is more use to sitting in the stands and watching these days and so is well suited to the role _________________ Do I look like the tech? |
