WL expressed this as different to all years he has watched pre season and
there was an instance where he highlighted the 40 meter pass to Budda who
quick as shot back a 25 meter hand ball which the player accepted and kept moving—-this is fluid ball transition as against some of our stop start play we
at times fall into
To my uneducated knowledge that’s what modern Footy is about
And to that I say good and the newbie coaches are maybe hitting on something
Can’t wait to see the proof of Match Sim _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |

Loved the changes to training so far this preseason. The professionalism of the way it's been designed and customised to the different player roles is a notch above anything I've seen in prior years. |

We've been trying to move the ball on for years under Buckley. Looked like world beaters when it's come off
The boys need to keep at it and not go into their shells like they tend to do. That's when you see the chippy chip and sclerotic movement. But is it just confidence? What about fitness? I mean it's one thing to say they have to move it on but if nobody's running to make space up ahead then all that's gonna happen is we'll cough it up. Evidence suggests that that might be part of it. |

As Warburton Lad sees it they do their simulation in groups who at conclusion
do running ,laps etc. which I would think is the fitness segment
Would hope the sim and fitness segments compliment each other
On the “start like house on fire” then fall away toward scrappy short chipping around with apparent no reason or plan this is not all lack of foot or hand skills but above shoulder skills —bad choice,s or hasty ill thought out play
They have a new broom (new coaching staff) that may correct some of their decision making fitness
My thoughts here and like all we must wait to see but for mine I am more buoyant than previous years ( Pies don’t let us down please) _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |
