I received a letter from NBN Co telling me that they have to upgrade the new infrastructure that was available to me from June 2017. The upgrade is to make higher speeds available (WTF). I just shake my head and I am still using Telstra Ultimate Cable as I am not ready to switch until the pricing and plans are reasonable. Then I get another letter a few days later from NBN Co telling me to sign up to an ISP to take advantage of great plans and high speed broadband. Mind you the high speeds that are not available until the update the infrastructure. |

We received a letter just before Xmas from Optus (we have Optus cable) to say that our change to NBN would be delayed.
Of course we are really disappointed..... _________________ If you are foolish enough to be contented, don't show it, but just grumble with the rest. - Jerome K Jerome |

I’d rather deal with them than those dickless feckless thoughtless prickless MF from Telstra! 8 months ago I applied for services, I’ve jumped through hoops, filled out countless forms, as soon as we had approved plans. last week they said it was going to engineering, they rang me on Monday and said, ‘NBN will be in that street in April so we won’t be doing it” ar3 you $£$%^%%$ kidding me! So after I cool down I ring NBN they direct me to the form, I fill it in, in 5 min flat, and it’s half the cost. Apparently they are ahead of schedule, hopefully, the factories will be ready in a month.
As for speed, Telstra is my only option right now, and they are bloody awful. Surely surely NBN can’t be worse? _________________ You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either! |
