I expect Fasolo to play.
The absences of Elliott and Wells will have the most impact. We lose our most reliable goalscorer and one of our best ball users.

I'm interested to see what changes to general game plans from the Hawks and us will be obvious.
Each year there are tweaks and the Hawks have a very different bunch of players so will probably twerk more than some.

I think we're going to shock a lot of critics right from the start. Taking the 7/1 for a Pies victory by 40+ as will be hard to see these odds framed once the machine gains more momentum.

So none of the seniors getting back from injury played in the VFL practice match last night? Does anyone know if they get any other practice match before R1? If not it may mean they'd not be available for R1

Apparently the club held some sort of intra match yesterday for the AFL listed players in preference I guess to having them take part in the VFL practice match.
Not sure if Aish, Fasolo etc took part.
