With the “speedy” and “skilful” J. Smith nicking a hamstring, beware of the Blair inclusion Thursday night at selection. Jarryd, whose verging in 28 whose commitment to endeavour, missed tackles and flying for ill fated marks on a regular basis shall naturally be highly considered versus Callum Brown’s whose JLT match in Moe was simply “too impressive” to warrant serious consideration.

Almost certain to be included in the game against GWS. He's a stoppage-maker, and the Pies need that to help dent GWS's run. |

I'd like to think Brown as the carry over emergency is ahead of him in pecking order and Fasolo also based on goal kicking talent. _________________ He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD! |

I've been on the Blair Out train for a few seasons now, but I'm starting to get a bit despondent about the selections now, whoever comes in we'll inevitably play the same brand of football anyway. |

Blair in —we don’t got a great amount of 75 plus AFL game player fit enough
Fasolo ✅
Blair✅
Mayne✅
Then a range of player professing to 50 the the kids
We may just have to play the little guy _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |

Mmmmm buggered that —I meant this
I was pointing out that Blair -Mayne—Fasolo all have seasons of experience
The gap to the next group —moderate experience is big
Then the 10 or less games comes
Decision —-do we go experience against Giants ,Adelaide and Richmond if the experienced and injuried player lay idle
Or risk the less experienced groups _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |

GWS —Adelaide —Richmond playing their A game will have little probs against
young, uns and even Bombers as well
Carlton our arch enemy have a young group who looked very capable in their
first up but who knows as those pricks go up a level against us
Think Fasolo ok but see Blair in a retrograde step
Maybe well I dunno _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |

I watched the Box Hill - Collingwood practice game and Jared Blair was just about our best player. The problem though is that at VFL level, he plays in the middle and rotates on the forward line. If he comes into the senior team he plays as a defensive mid or not at all as there isn't a player for him to replace in the middle. This is a major problem with our list being top heavy with mids. |

Then leave him in the VFL and let him work to develop our younger players. There's really no spot for him in the seniors. He's output is poor and he rarely troubles the scoreboard. Sure he has endeavour but it's not enough for the big league. So in Blair ugh. |
