Oceans 8, not bad. Didn't enjoy it as much as the male versions of the Oceans franchise but enjoyable enough. |

I actually watched Kong - Skull Island last night. Had Loki in it and wasn't a bad movie
Don't think I've watched a King Kong movie since I saw the re-make of the original in the 70's, but this was pretty good. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

We thought it was a great movie with action, laughs and a story line. Honestly does Ron Howard ever have a bad movie? 9/10. |
Saw Solo yesterday afternoon with the 20 year old.
Great fun, very enjoyable.
The other half of the family - red headed chick and her dad - went to see Oceans 8 instead. Both enjoyed it. Good rainy afternoon viewing.
Only downside were the crowds at Chaddy.
Seems everyone decided it was the place to be on a rainy day and car parks were more mental than ever. _________________ If you are foolish enough to be contented, don't show it, but just grumble with the rest. - Jerome K Jerome |

I sat back and watched "Rampage" with the Rock last night. C Grade movie. Some funny bits but there's 109 minutes of my life I can't get back. If you are really bored it will do. |

Deadpool 2. This, like the original, is a comic superhero movie done right. Very funny, great action and not afraid of sex, violence and bad language.
I can see some people totally not getting it though and sitting in the cinema appalled that all the idiots are laughing. |

Looking for something to watch last night, happened upon fantastic beasts and where to find them.
I liked the harry potter books and movies so I thought I'd give it a look before going to bed. Missed the first 10 minutes, but ended up watching the whole thing.
Very not bad, quite enjoyed it except for the nagging sensation that I recognised one of the more minor actors but couldn't think of where.
Resorting to google and IMDB, the guy was Ezra Miller who played the Flash in Justice League. Quirky kind of actor.
Had a similar reaction tonight, flicked it over to US Marshalls to be confronted with a very young Ironman _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

Bought the DVD on the spur of the moment, have t watched it yet! But I did go gold class with junior yesterday to see skyscraper. There is no way in hell rampage could be worse! I thought San Andreas was as bad as he could get, though I did get the 3D after I’d seen it (it was cheap) and rewatch, and it has some moments, ok to watch occasionally! I won’t give the story away, but suffice to say towering inferno and die hard do it do much better!
And they burnt the sweet potato chips! _________________ You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either! |

US Marshall’s is brilliant, still very watchable. Robert Downey junior has made some fantastic movies, all the way back to less than zero. _________________ You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either! |

I actually didn’t mind it! The CGI is pretty good, and the gorilla is awesome! It’s far better than skyscraper! Someone on the radio said I’ve rooted for the rock playing grid iron, in the jungle, earthquakes, in fast cars, against giant rabid animals, but I was really rooting for the building to win this one! _________________ You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either! |
