Sth Africa wrapped up the ODI series against West Indies 3 matches to 1 in a thriller at the Wanderers in Johannesburg.

West Indies set up a formidable target of 2/304 off their 50 overs thanks to Chris Gayle's 152 n.o off 153 balls. The total was set up by a 193 opening partnership between Gayle and Shiv Chanderpaul (85 from 114).
Lara's contribution was only 11 runs but Gayle received timely assistance in the later overs from Ricardo Powell's 49 n.o off 41 balls.

South Africa made it with 2 balls to spare despite losing 6 wickets. Again it was that man Kallis who must now be number 1 on WI cricket's voodoo list. Yet another century, this time 139 from 142 balls and his partnership with captain Graeme Smith (5Cool set the tone.

Corey Collymore had a Brett Lee of a day, 83 runs off his stint at the bowling crease. Boeta Dippenaar (2Cool and Jacques Rudolph (35) added contributions but it was a sharp flurry from Shaun Pollock and Mark Boucher (11 runs in final over) that got SA over the line.
