Geez they must hate Collingwood, the flogs on that show.
Jonathan ‘microphone head’ Brown no doubt hates us and the other 3 Mebourne nuffies were all crying about the dees lack of mental stability.
Not one mention about the Collingwood v Brisbane game.
Nothing.
Zilch.
Just pathetic.

Yeah I thought I may have missed it (missed the 1st 5 or so minutes) at the end of the show.
Very strange, considering they had a love fest over Lachie Neale

In fairness, the first half of our game (first quarter especially) was atrocious. Was a lot more interesting games and stories than ours on the weekend.

It was a pretty average game with not much to get excited about.
Maybe JDG’s dominance? Apart from that, the less said the better I reckon.

Dude, why are you so surprised? No one in the football world likes us apart from us. Don't bother watching crap like that. I've given up and you rarely get constructive analysis from the likes of those tools anyway. I've even resorted to watching games with the sound down and have found that I actually enjoy it more than listening to the commentators cream themselves over the opposition.
The only way to shut demented imbeciles like browny up is to win and win well. Every time we win we raise the middle finger to the football world. They hate it. |

Not sure about this thread's validity a a topic. Just reads like a rant.
Pies won a pretty nondescript game against a lowly team. Not great skills by either team. Poor kicking for goal. Margin didn't stamp us a back form-wise. Backline fought on, but looked vulnerable. Nothing about the performance said watch out during September re the Pies. There were few newsworthy moments accordingly. No-one kicked 10 goals, no spectacular marks, no-one had 50 possessions.
By contrast, the show focussed on Melbourne's inability to win against top 9 teams, North conceding 3 players with 40+ possessions and the like. Also had a swing at the MRP for failing to act against punching off the ball. They were genuine talking points from the round.
Only highlight worthy of discussion from our game was perhaps Jayden Stephenson's cementing of the Rising Star award and that is considered a given by most in the industry, despite Paul Roos efforts to get Oliver Florent recognised for it, as a former Swans coach.
I don't think Jon Brown hates Collingwood. He almost came to play for us and even purchased a house in Port Melbourne (since sold) that he was intending to live in when he moved here.

I watched it and noted the lack of discussion on Collingwood, too.
I would normally agree with those other comments about justification for not talking about us however, they were discussing injuries at Adelaide, West Coast, GWS and (lack of) at Richmond. You would think that at this point a mention of Collingwood's injury list a relatively good result despite this would at least rate a mention.

Exactly my thoughts too, no need to have unnecessary distractions. Just concentrate on the job at hand with minimal attention.
