Ok, I'm getting in early, on probably one of the wankiest subjects one could post, but hey, it's the off season.
For me... I'm going to try and not shit stir as much as I usually do, get my fitness back up to a reasonable level and try to have more alcohol free days. The latter is something I'm really struggling with lately... which probably fuels the other 2
Only one more swing until Christmas, I hope you all have the most amazing time and the new year is the best one yet!
The Pies taking the flag would make us all that little bit happier. I reckon we're on the cusp of a period of domination not seen since the Lions threepeat at the start of the millennium.

My new years resolution is to win $30m or more on the lotteries and retire.

I’m resolved to be frugal and help prevent climate change by not gunning the Lambo in heavy traffic (as much). |

I have a list as long as my arm of basic stuff I’m failing to do right now and that I’d like to be doing. But the ultimate goal is to travel overseas at the end of the year. It’s about time I finally ventured outside the country for the first time (going to Queensland doesn’t officially count!) _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

I was going to say that, but I thought Queensland would be funnier (what even is that place). I have been to the foreign land of Tasmania twice (the only times I've ever left the Australian mainland!). _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

Apart from a Sth pacific cruise with my parents when I was 12 and a work trip to NZ, I hadn't been overseas til my first trip to the USA when I turned 50. Just seeing things you'd only seen on TV and experiencing a different culture, it's worth it.
I had no desire to see Europe but my daughters recent 3 month trip has me generally interested. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

So, today I woke up without a hangover (not that I get them) and did 9/10 of far call.
Except, I did fire off an email to get a quote to try to consolidate my insurance premiums, ordered some more e-liquid for the vaper (which I'm starting up again now that all the other shit seems to have been sorted) and made myself a to do list.
New year, time to get some shit done. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

Where would you want to go first? I often daydream about other places to go.
Can give you tips on NZ (both islands), Vietnam, Cambodia, Japan, London (been twice), Paris (been twice), parts of the US, Fiji, Italy, Dubai.
Now you've got me thinking about where to next! Maybe Singapore. Or Canada. Or Spain. Or the northern lights in Norway. Hmmm. |

Go to Vegas and LA.
Or do like I did and go to El Paso, walk over the mexican border to Juarez and have a Margarita at the Kentucky Bar, it's birthplace.

Been to Vegas & LA. Vegas is ok, probably better if you're into strip bars and gambling. Reminded me of a place the stereotypical 'dirty old man' would go. Mind you, if Robbie Williams announces more shows there at dates that I can get out of work for I'll be back.
Had Mexico on the list when first went but scrapped it.
LA was good, stayed in Beverly Hills, close to everything without being unseemly. |

The Vegas strip clubs are average compared to Melbourne's and I don't gamble, but I just love the vibe of the place.
I went through Beverly Hills but I'd recommend Santa Monica as a good place to stay, I fit into Beverly Hills like Axel Foley did. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |
