Post subject: Why do CFC insist on fibbing to us? | |
|
I just read that Grundy is MIA, bandaged up to the knee!
HOW is that the result of Ruffy stepping on his toes?
What was he wearing on his feet? Machetes?
A month or so ago things were looking quite good, and then came the annual DeGoey injury.
Then another, and another. and soon its business as usual...
According to the AFL we once AGAIN have the longest injury list with about 10 guys, or 8, or 12, do CFC even have a clue? WHAT are we doing? I didn't even want to mention how screwed we'd be if Grundy is out, he IS the one guy we can't cover.
Now I DARE someone to tell me EIGHT STRAIGHT YEARS of long injury lists is BAD LUCK!! They know it isn't coz they looked into the matter last year, but no report was made, no word to us, and clearly they failed to identify the problem.
Anyone with HALF a brain knows injuries cost us the 2018 flag. Its ridiculous to suggest that the loss of Shaz & Dunne had no effect on our backline, we simply couldn't rebound by the end,
A month ago I had us as flag favourites, by a mile.
Now I have NO idea who is going to be available. Will ten or twelve blokes be unavailable? With Rich. Geel, & WCE to face?
Has anyone got a clue who might be available for Rd.1? I have a list of about 16 guys who had surgery, "sat this one out", Didn't appear, just running laps, etc etc... I think theres about 8 guys who are absolute definites...
And thats THIS week... _________________ "If at first you dont succeed...

I agree 35. Some people can't wait for the season to start but I for one think we are vulnerable and ready for the taking because of what your talking about. Our preseason has been abbreviated as expected and the list of injury this time to rnd one will get bigger. You can bet your first house on it. We need to be patient and I'm mean the club. _________________ no second chances |

They showed Grundy jogging laps on the news tonight, I didn't see any bandages, service animals or mobility aids.
Video in this link shows a bandage on his lower leg, below the calf, which would be covered if he was wearing footy socks and pulled them up, but doesn't seem to be slowing him down.

We have the shortest injury list of any team.
We have never been better placed 5 weeks out from the season opener. |

Hi Mr 35.
Flags aren’t won in Feb.
No point thrashing blokes now. Let’s get them ok for the back end of the season.
So what if Grundy misses a game or two at the start of the season? Let’s just make sure he’s there when it matters. _________________ Beware the swooping Magpie. |

The only thing im concerened about is why did Jeremey Howe wait until now to get his cork properly drained?
I would have though that operation should have been completed months ago? _________________ On the eve of a Dynasty |

Are you sure it was Grundy? I hear they can transmit through the telly so you think it’s Grundy. _________________ You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either! |

Kinda think we may get some insight into players readiness Friday
Ones selected for the practice match although come to think of it if Grundy was not to play (or any player) club may have “reasons “ that are cover up
Many injuries linger thru a whole season and due to its intensity is a key to that player stay on or don’t get on the park _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |

Minor concerns:
- Howe had another operation on his cork. He will be touch and go for round 1
- Beams seems to be ok after illness. Targeting JLT match 2
- DeGoey, Crisp, WHE all managed. No point burning the class on the track at this time of the year. These guys are key best 22 players.
- Grundy is a worry. Toe injury but bandaged calf. Hopefully he hasn't got Reid's injury
- Wells, Elliott are both bonuses but appear to be going well with Jamie pressing his case for round 1 selection.
- Roughead is going well and will be solid support in the backline, but he has a minor setback also and will likely return for JLT 2.
There is good news about Moore which is promising. He's a new recruit and I hope he stays injury free. |
