TAYLOR ADAMS
From AFL app
“COLLINGWOOD midfielder Taylor Adams is in consideration for a shock recall against Sydney on Friday night, just three weeks after straining his adductor. Initially expected to be sidelined until after the Pies' round 13 bye, Adams' last seven days of training has put him in the frame to return four weeks ahead of schedule.”
Would be folly to rush him back with the depth we have. _________________ Est. 2002 |

No need to rush him back. It's a long season. |

I feel the non play of Moore , Elliot & JDG was more along the lines of management of niggling injuries and would happen at some stage —for
that matter will happen again during the rest of season _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |

I feel Moore - yes; JDG - ideally not but perhaps didn't push him too hard to get up; Elliot - no, I think that's a definite new injury _________________ I find your lack of faith disturbing |

And in some good news on the injury front, it looks like Buddy misses again for them. |

Moore will play
JDG very likley to play
Elliott won't play
Langdon won't play
Langdon see's a surgeons tomorrow tear in the petella apparently and possible meniscus tear (can play with later)
If he has surgery 6-8 weeks out but given his history and chronic knee issues he battles likely won't play again this season given the clubs very cautious approach to recurring injuries for players
Interesting to see if this is the week IQ gets a debut off the bench
Possible changes
Out
Langdon (inj) Varcoe (suspended)

Wow that was quick
If Adams comes in our depth is really starting to show
Who else misses then ? |

Hopefully not! I had a minor tear in my meniscus over 6 months ago, only started running again this week. Sure, I'm twice his age and recovery is somewhat hampered by a few factors, but he will struggle to be back inside 12 weeks if that's the issue. |

If Adams comes back in, then I guess it's bye bye Wills. Moore in for Langdon. JDG for Varcoe, but I'd not play JDG unless 100% right to play. If JDG doesn't get up, then Wells comes in for Indigenous round. _________________ "Hey Ma get off the dang roof!" |

Ins: Adams, Moore, DeGoey
Outs: Wills, Langdon, Varcoe
That's adding strength in all 3 positions.
Looking good.
Buddy likely to miss again too. |

I just watched (2nd time) the second half of Saturday game and gee you look at Reid and his goals / contested marks and goal assist capabilities
And Wills who was not too shabby then roll off mattdally,s ins and think
Look at our “backup” who any side in comp would love to have
Without those three plus Elliot and Cox we totally nutted a side in a burst of powerful footy. Bugger me we are better sourced this year _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |
