Well, perhaps we should just add some post to get to page 9 and test the theory. |

I hope that's not because we'll have to merger a bunch of new threads into it... _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |

That will be some achievement when it happens. |
Pendles has now passed Wayne Richardson with his 176th win in the black and white. He is now the Collingwood player with the 4th-most wins all-time. One more to equal Tony Shaw and two more to go clear in third place, chasing just the ridiculous winning feats of Harry Collier and Gordon Coventry. If Pendles plays this season and next, he is some chance of catching Collier. He probably won't catch Coventry, unless he plays until at least the end of 2022. |

^ I wouldn't rule him out playing in 2022 or 2023.
He's such a skillful player that he's not reliant on pace to get him through seasons. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 | |

291 games now.
Only 9 to go to reach 300! And 15 to equal Coventry. _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |

And that'll be it.
Scrape into the 8, play an elimination final, and Pendles is done.
Got a flag and 300, well done son. _________________ Don't count the days, make the days count. |

He has now played in more Collingwood victories than Tony Shaw. Only Harry Collier and Gordon Coventry played in more. And, once again, the mark of his greatness is that he carried the team to victory against the best midfield opposition in the competition. |
