WC did not wear their indigenous guernsey, I guess because of a jumper clash. Next week, then? |

If GWS lose this one, the media will screech all week about the MCG record. |

Can't see it happening, K. The Giants are getting heaps more of the ball and leading by 30 points, nearing half time. _________________ Donny.

GWS ease out to a 5.5 lead late in Q2.
GWS lead disposals 182-131, I50s 32-15, M50s 11-3.
Melbourne lead HOs 21-5, but Gawn's HO-to-advantage ratio is only about 13%. |

Melbourne scored 1 goal in a half. How many goals do you reckon in the second half? I guess maybe 5-7 goals total for the game... but GWS might ease off.
"The Giants were in possession for 8 minutes and 2 seconds more than Melbourne in that half and had the ball in their in forward half 64 per cent of the time." |

Whitfield & Himmelberg (twice) goal for GWS.
HH has 3, Whitfield 2, Cameron 2.
The lead is now 8.3 & GWS's percentage is currently 30 more than Richmond's. |

Melbourne goal.
GWS 68-17...
... but Himmelberg kicks his 4th to make it 74-17. |

GWS 81-23 late in Q3.
Melbourne are on track for the predicted 5-7 goals...

Melbourne lead centre clearances 7-3. They don't lead much else.

Jeremy Cameron is a fantastic player but he’s a bit of a smartalec at times - twice in a row he tried silly, low-percentage kicks across goal from halfforward wing. Both were intercepted and the second gifted Melbourne their third goal. I think if he came to Collingwood, we could to get him to cut that smart stuff out of his game. Maybe we should offer to take him off GWS’ hands? |

His goal-kicking is a bit Collingwood-like. |
