US sniper sentenced to death

Muhammad's teenage accomplice, Lee Boyd Malvo, will be sentenced to life in prison after a jury spared him the death penalty. |

Yep, but the fact is he is only ONE wacko. The day US lawmakers finally get serious about controlling the amount and nature of firearms freely available is the day I may regain some semblance of confidence in US systems.
The day that the board of the National Rifle Association, their ilk and their lobbyists are placed on trial on capital charges, I'd like to see that.
Otherwise, they just tinkering with things.

Agreed wombat BUT any wacko can get their hands on a gun if they WANT to, particularly is the good ol' USofA. Money speaks all languages, especially dirty ones.

As shown in the wake of David Hookes death, Australia is a very poor organ donating nation. The U.S. is one of the best.
The reason for this is their gun laws. Plenty of ppl getting shot close to hospitals where they can be stabilised and the organs kept in prime condition until the life support is switched off.
So the question beckons, more guns = more life saving donations.
